Here's what I've been up to on my hiatus!

Hello Everyone,

While I was out (not blogging) I did a few interesting things. I did alterations for an upcoming wedding this week. (The bride and three bridesmaids) Head piece to follow tonight. :-) (LoL!)

A lip dress.  Yes, I said a lip dress. I wish I could publish the young lady in the dress but I haven't talked to her as of yet so this is all you get! LOL!! (It was actually cute on her.) You are welcome to leave comments!!

Some summer clothes (some which I will blog about making)

The Leprechaun Dress!

Pattern Description:
Misses Knit Dress with bodice and length variations
Pattern Sizing:

Side View

I cut the 18
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it?
Yes it did - very much so!
Were the instructions easy to follow?
The instructions are very easy to follow although I read them but didn't need them.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?
This pattern was done from cut to finish in two hours.
Fabric Used:
I used Matte Jersey and Confetti Dot (Which I usually wouldn't give a second look but how cute did it work for this dress!)
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made:
I didn't do anything to this dress. I usually do a FBA or add to the bodice length but didn't this time and the dress actually worked!
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others?
I will sew other versions of this dress because it's quick and all of the styles are cute! This is a great pattern for beginners and women with big boobs! ;-)

Conclusion:
I was looking for a dress to wear to a "green" party in March. Anyhoooo, I didn't get to go to that particular party but ended up at another. Not only was I the "only" person in GREEN but I danced all night cause my dress was SEXY!! Black thigh high suede stiletto boots to finish the job!! Gotta love a quick good looking dress!
The dress was a winner!

OMG! Welcome Me Back!

I have been gone for a few months. Actually, this blog thing has got me in a pickle. I need to sit down and post instead of sitting down and falling asleep! (The pic is from Pizza Hut, waiting on wings!)

Anywhoooooo,
I'll be blogging as least once a week to show you my work and what's happening out in my sewing world.

Announcement: I WILL NO LONGER BE SEWING FOR THE PUBLIC!!!

That's right. I will be making projects for myself and myself only. (Ok, maybe my darling husband, my son and daughter on occasion but they will be on the "honor system". It's a good system for those of you who are drained by your families. (he he)) So, those of you with dream of being a designer and bringing me your "KRaZiey" creations, and those alterations for the birds can take your stuff to another. Just google "Seamstress" or "Sewing" and ignore my name. (LOL!)

I will be, however, starting to teach again. Feel free to send me an email if you are interested in learning basic sewing and alterations or just fine tuning your skills. I would be glad to help out for a small fee. (cheese) (Local folks only please!) sewexcited2000@yahoo.com

Stay tuned,
Carol
